The DSC-CIES is the scientific partner of public, private and non-profit organizations. We provide evaluation, research, grant writing, and consultation services in the fields of education, mental health, substance abuse and prevention, violence prevention, teen pregnancy, K-12, and biomedical research.

 

History

Founded in 2007, the Division of Community Services (DSC, by its initials in Spanish) of the Center for Evaluation and Sociomedical Research (CIES) of the Graduate School of Public Health, University of Puerto Rico - Medical Sciences Campus specializes in the evaluation of social programs, applied research on human service organizations, basic research on public health issues, evidence base practice, and the development of methods to measure program success.

The DSC is one of the most successful independent evaluation, research, and grant writing organization in Puerto Rico. We have provided evaluation, research, grant writing, and consultation services to numerous public and private organizations. 

 

What we do?

DSC works with clients throughout one or many of the  program organization development and implementation. From the initial stages of program planning through data collection, continuous quality improvement, assessment and reporting.
